We guarantee 99.9% uptime across all hosting plans — shared, VPS, and managed services. Here's what that means and how we back it up.

What 99.9% Uptime Means

99.9% uptime means your website can be down for a maximum of 8 hours and 45 minutes per year, or about 43 minutes per month. In practice, SNBD HOST maintains uptime well above this threshold — most months see zero unplanned downtime.

Our SLA covers server-side availability. Scheduled maintenance windows (which we announce 48 hours in advance) are excluded from the uptime calculation, as are issues caused by client-side code, DNS propagation, or third-party service outages.

How We Maintain High Uptime

Uptime isn't a number you set — it's the result of infrastructure decisions:

  • Enterprise-grade Dell and HP servers with ECC memory and redundant power supplies
  • NVMe SSDs in RAID configurations to survive drive failures
  • Multiple upstream network providers at each data center location
  • CloudLinux isolation on shared hosting prevents one site from crashing the server
  • Automated monitoring checks every server every 60 seconds
  • On-call engineering team for immediate response to critical alerts

What Happens If We Miss the SLA

If your hosting experiences downtime below our 99.9% guarantee in any calendar month, you're eligible for service credits. The credit is proportional to the downtime experienced and is applied to your next billing cycle.

To claim a credit, submit a support ticket within 7 days of the downtime event with the affected time window. Our monitoring logs provide authoritative records of server availability.

Monitoring & Transparency

We use internal and third-party monitoring tools to track server availability across all locations — USA (Dallas), BDIX (Dhaka), and Singapore. Our support team proactively responds to alerts before most customers notice an issue.

If a significant outage occurs, we communicate through our support channels with real-time updates and a post-incident summary explaining what happened and what we've done to prevent recurrence.
