Where Is Your Data Stored?

Who Can Access Your Data?
You: Full access to your Hermes dashboard, conversation history, and knowledge base via your account credentials.
SNBD HOST technical staff: Have access to server infrastructure for operations, maintenance, and incident response. This access is logged, audited, and limited to staff who need it for technical operations. SNBD HOST staff do not read customer conversation content in the normal course of operations.
Third parties: We do not sell, share, or transfer your conversation data or knowledge base content to any third party. This applies to advertisers, data brokers, and any other entity.
Government/legal: Like any Bangladesh-based service, we comply with valid legal orders from Bangladesh authorities. We do not proactively share data with any government entity.
Does SNBD HOST Use My Data to Train AI Models?
No. Your Hermes Agent Hosting BD data is not used to train or fine-tune AI models — ours or any third party's. Your customers' conversations with your agent are your data, not ours to use for other purposes.
How Is Data Protected?
- Transmission: All API communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Unencrypted API requests are rejected.
- Storage: Database storage uses standard encryption at rest.
- Access control: Your Hermes instance is isolated from other users' instances. You cannot access other users' data; they cannot access yours.
- Qdrant: Your vector store collection is private to your Hermes account. The Qdrant endpoint is authenticated.
What About My Customers' Data?
When your customers chat with your Hermes-powered Telegram or Discord bot, their messages are processed through your Hermes instance. By deploying a Hermes agent for customer service, you are responsible for informing your customers that they are interacting with an AI agent and for complying with applicable Bangladesh privacy laws.
Best practice: include a note in your bot's welcome message — something like "You're chatting with [Business Name]'s AI assistant. Your messages help us answer your questions." This sets appropriate expectations and is a good practice regardless of legal requirements.
