Is Hermes made by SNBD HOST or by another company?

Hermes is SNBD HOST's own product — designed, hosted, and supported by our Bangladesh-based team. The underlying AI models are Google DeepMind's Gemma series, accessed via the SNBD API system. The infrastructure, integrations, and management layer are built by SNBD HOST.

What does "managed AI agent hosting" mean?

It means SNBD HOST runs and maintains the entire AI stack for you. You do not install software, configure models, manage servers, handle updates, or monitor uptime. We do all of that. You just connect your apps and use the agent.

Technical Questions

What AI model does Hermes use?

Hermes Agent Hosting BD runs on Google DeepMind's Gemma model family, accessed through the SNBD API system. The specific model version is updated periodically as new Gemma releases become available — beta users get access to new models as they are added.

What is the Qdrant memory?

Qdrant is a vector database that stores conversation history and knowledge base content as vector embeddings. This lets Hermes retrieve relevant context from past conversations and your uploaded documents when generating responses — giving it persistent memory that a standard chatbot lacks.

Can I use Hermes with my own code?

Yes. Hermes Agent Hosting BD provides an OpenAI-compatible API endpoint. Any code that works with the OpenAI Python or JavaScript SDK works with Hermes — just change the base URL. This makes it a drop-in replacement for OpenAI API in your existing applications.

Does Hermes support Bangla (Bengali) language?

Yes. The Gemma models support Bangla. Hermes can read, understand, and reply in Bangla or a mix of Bangla and English. Response quality in Bangla is very good for general queries and slightly lower for very technical or specialised topics.

Out of the box: Telegram, Discord, and Slack. Connection is one-click in the Hermes dashboard — no coding required. For other apps (WhatsApp, custom websites, mobile apps), use the OpenAI-compatible API endpoint to build your own integration.

Can I connect Hermes to WhatsApp?

Direct WhatsApp integration is not one-click like Telegram — WhatsApp Business API requires Meta approval, which is a separate process. Once you have WhatsApp Business API credentials (via a BSP like Twilio or 360dialog), you can connect Hermes to WhatsApp using the API endpoint.

Data Privacy

Where is my data stored?

Your Hermes Agent Hosting BD data is stored on SNBD HOST's servers in Bangladesh. We do not transfer your conversation data to foreign servers. The Gemma model inference runs locally on our BDIX-connected infrastructure.

Is my conversation data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is used only to run your specific Hermes instance. We do not use customer conversation data for model training or share it with third parties.
