How to Point Your Domain to SNBD HOST

Learn how to point your registered domain name to SNBD HOST using our custom nameservers or DNS A records.

The easiest way to connect your domain is to update your domain registrar's nameservers. This delegates all DNS management (website and email) to our high-performance DNS cluster.

Update your nameservers at your registrar to:

  • ns1.snbdhost.com
  • ns2.snbdhost.com

Note: Nameserver changes can take anywhere from 1 to 24 hours to propagate globally due to DNS caching.

Pointing via DNS A Record

If you wish to keep your DNS management at your current provider (like Cloudflare) and only point your website traffic to SNBD HOST:

  1. Log in to your DNS provider's dashboard.
  2. Locate the A Record for your root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com).
  3. Point it to your hosting server's IP address (found in your SNBD HOST welcome email).
  4. Create a CNAME Record for www pointing to your root domain.
